It was very cold but sunny February morning when we got together to sort the herd for the first time. Butcher animals would be sorted and hauled to our butcher lot a few miles away and all young stock would be ear tagged. No loss of man or beast that would be considered a successful roundup!
Never thought in a million years we would every be raising bison. It has truly been one of the funnest times of our lives. Raising bison has introduced us to other bison ranchers who have become some of our best friends that we would not have met otherwise. ~Krista Pohl
